I can comment only on the area I cover (Reading and 20 miles radius) but there are virtually no Buy to Let purchases at present but many re-mortgages as rates are low.
There are lots of first time buyers for 1/2 bed houses and flats and guess what? Prices have gone up as the FTB’s are in competition with one another! I looks like the sharks are seeking calmer waters and the piranha have taken over!
