All of my deposits are custodial scheme and for long term tenants that I trust, I've started returning deposits as I hate the thought of these companies reaping the interest on the money.
Only time I have come across this is when a tenants son moved in for a few months. I agreed to it and he has since left. I had my estate agent draw up a letter that he was a...
Ive only 1 house left that is not a C. Come 2030, I will sell it as it's going to cost too much to get it to a C. If the government make upgrades tax deductible I may consider it....
The government need to wake up and look at who rent's their council houses. I know people from UK nationals to Somalies that should not be in council houses but the government will still give them away. I also know...
Fines will be flying out quicker than speeding tickets. What I don't think they have taken into consideration, motorists can not do without a car. Landlords can afford to sell and then they have to re house the tenant in...

I bet that is really helping the housing crisis and preventing people being homeless or the council spending a fortune on emergency accommodation? This government would rather shoot themselves in the foot than than be seen helping landlords.
First they want us to insulate the house to get an EPC C and now they want us to fit Air Con so it doesn't make an EPC C any more? What drugs are they selling in the bars in...

If the government actually wanted landlords to increase the EPC of their property, they should start by making it tax deductable, Over the years I've got all of our houses to a C except 1, This one will be sold...

Thats kind of you. I've barely increased any tenants rent until this year. S13 form 4 issued to several tenants who's rent has never increased in years and all due to the RRA and Labour. It's about time my rents...
Just issues my firs form 4 due the RRA and tenant took it really well and was surprised that I didn't do it years ago and was happy with the increase as it's still no where near market rates, she...
Every time I hear the phrase a good landlords have nothing to fear and level playing field just make my blood boil. It's normally just another politician talking Bull and avoiding the question of why they are destroying the PRS....
Mick, I have spent quite a few hours digging through paperwork each night over the last couple of days to get tenants email addresses, especially joint tenants who I normally don't contact. I don't wan't to send out via whats...

But a 10% increase in council tax is OK? It's just landlords that can't increase rents to cover costs?
