The property management Company of a block of flats has been taken over by a Right to Manage (RTM). The RTM is transparent regarding all transactions but the previous management company are the direct opposite.

Many of the Landlords are in a four-figure credit even after major works were completed. The previous management company are refusing to send over the necessary information weather it’s funds or a reconciliation of any kind. Just a set of accounts with a balance sheet that doesn’t add up.

To make the situation more distressing the previous management company are deducting interim service charges from my credit beyond the take-over date. I have pointed this all out to them by email asking for answers to no avail.

I am quite happy for all my credits to be transferred to the RTM but this clearly isn’t happening.

It feels like the previous management company is stealing the funds. They won’t even supply the freeholder’s contact details.
