The Times wants to speak to landlords about buy-to-let mortgages

A journalist from The Times is working on a piece marking the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the buy-to-let mortgage and looking at how it has changed Britain’s property market.

They are looking to speak to landlords who have benefited from a buy-to-let mortgage and have been able to build portfolios or buy one or two buy-to-let properties that have helped boost their income.

They would also like to hear from landlords who have decided to stop buying, or are now selling properties, because they feel buy-to-let mortgages are no longer as attractive or viable as they once were.
