We are very sorry to report that the TDS Head Office was destroyed by fire yesterday evening. Thankfully it is reported that no one was hurt in the incident involving the Progression Centre business complex in Hemel Hempstead. 35 fire fighters and 6 fire engines were called to the scene.

TDS gave a statement to the Property Industry Eye: “A major fire broke out at TDS’ headquarters in Hemel Hempstead. All staff were safely evacuated and the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service is in attendance. TDS’ business continuity plan has been activated and staff are working towards making phone and email services available in the coming days.

“All data is backed up off-site and the company is confident that there has been no loss of customer data. TDS has planned and drilled for scenarios such as this and thanks its customers for their patience.”

Property118 wishes TDS well with their disaster recover plans and hopes its staff can get back up and running as soon as possible.
