Stopping the legislation, regulation and judicial PRS landlord bashing?

I have said it before – probably this time last year – and I’ll say it again the only way to get PRS Landlords fair treatment, and recognition of taking up the social housing mantle – which many of us have done, and done for years – is for ALL of us to issue s21 Notices with the SAME expiry day.

4.7 million people could then be potentially homeless and, whichever government was in power and Local Authorities, would have to curb the ever-increasing legislation/regulation/judicial landlord bashing.

It costs nothing to serve a s21 other than the cost of paper, an envelope, a 1st class stamp or recorded delivery.

So how about it?

I thought this was a ridiculous idea initially!

However, everyone in the UK seems to think it’s ok to put lives at risk by striking - we should too!

Section 21’s great - if they move out we sell up great.

But, if they all stay and don’t pay their rent - how do we act?

Maybe stop all maintenance!

Maybe stop paying our mortgages!

Many of us are going to loose our businesses anyway, we could all do it in style!

I’m baffled at how undervalued we are, how this law breaking government can cause the death of a child in a house owned and let by a council - with no redress.

How the government can take unilateral business busting decisions about our business is grossly unfair, and I believe should be an ism (ie sexism, ageism…)
Could we do a class action against the government for this and maybe Harrassment.

I’m just chucking out ideas cos if something isn’t done I’ll loose my business!

Ps my councillor has no clue how this works or the consequences to us or renters (akin to the government!)
