If you’re new to the property investment business and need property investment advice or you are considering employing the services of a property sourcer to help find properties that will take you closer to your goals you could so easily find yourself in shark infested waters unless you are extremely cautious.  There are far too many slick sales people with flashy web-sites and glossy brochures out there plotting to sell you courses and get you into financing schemes that could so easily leave you out of pocket, or worse still in prison.

These people thrive on other peoples nativity or lack of experience.  That’s why I always insist that my potential clients check me out thoroughly and do the same with anybody else who is offering services similar to mine.

The bottom line is this.  You need money, or at least a good income and asetts to raise money against to get started if you are serious about building a property portfolio.

If you want to check out a person in the property business simply type their name followed by the word ‘Property’ into Google.  Then read as much about them as you can and go onto property forums such as Property Tribes and start asking questions.  Remember, if something looks too good to be true it usually is.
