Hello, tenants were due to vacate the property this weekend. However, the tenants have told the management agency that they have been advised by the local authority to stay put as they are a couple with a young child.
Where do I stand on this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Sheila

Why are you getting them to pay directly. If they go back into no arrears then you u keep them in.

In other countries its a private initiative as its for the PRS not government social housing and works
Democratic Government don’t stop private initiatives, they may not support them.

They’re 11 months in arrears and the HB is only paying a few hundred doesn’t make a rent into the actual monthly rent.
They’re paying because the tenant didn’t inform of me his change in status, used the AST to obtain HB and failed to pay the rent which is deceptive possibly fraudulent conduct by tenant
