    Hello All

The following has been sent. I do not have the email address – therefore, I have posted this on the feedback from on the website.

If you have an email address, I will be happy to send on an email as well.

    Kind regards

    Ruhal

“URGENT: withdrawing petition 104880 by Ruhal Uddin and publishing petition by Dr R Beck

    Dear Sirs

As the author of the petition: ‘Reverse the planned tax relief restriction on ‘individual’ landlords,’ (petition number: 104880) I would like you to take this down immediately. Can you please confirm to me when you have done this.

Can you then either publish or ask the author, Dr R Beck for her authorisation if necessary (she has already written to you about this), to publish her petition: ‘Scrap the mortgage interest tax levy before it forces tenants out and rents up!’

At the moment the petition we want to have signed is not the one you have published and this could adversely affect the petitions process.
Can someone get back to me immediately on this?

    Kind regards

    Ruhal Uddin”

Has anyone tried to use Stephen Fay’s mortgage interest relief calculator? I posted a link to it last night. I have been stress testing my portfolio at different interest rates and it shows under the current tax system that when interest rates go up I pay more in tax despite my profit reducing. I think the spreadsheet contains an error so please use with caution. The tax paid under the new system may be correct. Would be good if one of the accountants on here could have a look at this.

    Ruhal,

I would personally like to “Thank You” for your efforts to set up petition single handedly which hit the ground running.

If your request does get accepted and Property118 petition gets replaced by yours then I would request you to continue with your efforts as if the previous petition which was set up by you is still running.

You have indeed made use of Social Media & Property portals to get its audiences attention as such your efforts will be greatly appreciated.

Ruhal, the link is still on your Facebook profile. Could you include a statement or sever the link for now? Advise those who have signed to watch out for the revised petition and sign afresh when it is available? Sorry – just noticed.
