On 23rd May 2017, just 2 weeks before the country goes to the polls again the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) will host an election hustings in Manchester City Centre.
Manchester is not only home to the RLA but also has a demographic growth of around 6,000 new households a year entering the Private Rented Sector (PRS), making it one of the most diverse and fastest growing markets in the country.
We are excited to invite you to this one off event that will give local candidates representing different parts of the City the chance to meet Landlords and other PRS partners to discuss the biggest issues facing housing and particularly the PRS.
With Citywide licencing on the new Greater Manchester Mayor’s radar, amongst other controversial ideas, we are delighted to provide this unique opportunity to speak to the Party Candidates. We will discuss issues you feel are most helping you or holding you back in renting your property (ies) and how a future Government can positively contribute to the successful growth of the PRS in Manchester for both Landlords and tenants.
Speakers include:
* Mike Kane MP, Wythenshawe and Sale East , Labour Party – CONFIRMED
* Stephen Woods, Chairman of the Wythenshawe & Sale East Conservative Party and Area Officer for the Greater Manchester Conservative Party – CONFIRMED
* Lib Dem Candidate – TBC
Tea and Coffee served on arrival.

Why haven’t UKIP been invited?
They appear to be the only party who seem to recognise the injustices of s24, albeit from a tenant perspective.
