My fears are that the product will be withdrawn once BoI get wind of what’s going on.
I want our members to get in first before all and sundry who failed to support us get wind of this and BoI retention department get flooded with calls.
This could be a ‘first come first served’ things folks!
I’ve already had it confirmed by a Facebook friend that he’s managed to extend his loan terms and switch 8 BTL mortgages onto this product so get in quick – IT IS REAL!!!

HI Mark,
Many thanks for bringing our attention to this.
Is there somewhere I can see more information about this product.
I cannot see it in the list of products on the BOI website.

You need to call them, it was buried deep and explained over several pages meaning it’s not practical to link to it. I don’t think they want this to be found but need to have it for some reason unbeknown to me.

I can confirm it’s very straight forward. One call to their call centre and a follow up which took just over 5 mins !
it’s all on their web-site but needs a bit of digging

Thanks Arwell that is interesting I called them at 8:53 and I have to have an appointment with a BTL advisor but they can’t do that until Wednesday – did you have a direct dial? I can’t believe I should be any different – I have had 2 mortgages since 2002, I have always paid and the LTV is less than 60% so I had expected a straight swap as others have described.

I’ve not seen any donations so far.
I was hoping that people would be happy to reward all of my efforts on their behalf – very disappointing! 🙁

Happy to donate one BOI haven’t confirmed we can move to this deal – I know that sounds mean BUT I have supported the case from the beginning and contributed to the marketing fund along the way – for some reason I’m having to wait for a telephone appointment and they can’t do that until Wednesday. I don’t know others have managed to just swap -do they have a direct line number to get to the right person? Perhaps why donations are not forthcoming just yet.

Very strange, the only number I found is the one I published.
Perhaps you should call back and pretend it’s your first call to see what answer you get this time?
