I have tried several different letting agents here in Newark, Bottinghamshire, and have settled with my original agents, after leaving them to go to slightly cheaper ones. My present agents are honest, thorough, and most importantly, keep the tenants happy which means there are no problems. The other agents I tried were basically dishonest, charging vastly inflated repair bills, and in one case insisting that a property was empty when it wasn’t and keeping the rent themselves. Thank goodness Martin and Co allowed me to return to them, and since then my problems are over!
