Predictions for #Euro2012 from top sports lawyers >
This article has nothing whatsoever to do with Property but I suspect several of our readers will be following the football over the next few weeks and may be interested in some alternative predictions for Euro 2012. Will England do better than we did in Eurovision I wonder?
Several of my friends are lawyers, one is a leading sports lawyer (Dan Chapman) and another is officially the UK’s number one Mediator (Martin Plowman).
One of Martin’s secret weapons is a piece of software which number crunches probabilities (The Raptor). He’s teamed up with Dan (the sporting lawyer) to analyse the bookies odds and present them in a way which makes it much easier to see which way the bookies think the competition will play out.
If you are into football, probabilities, or you like a bit of a flutter at the bookies this is interesting stuff and it’s also free to follow on the Full Contact Law News blog and on the Raptors Twitter feed

More interesting statistics shared by the Raptor “In 2004 the bookmakers’s odds translated into a 1.08% probability of Greece winning. And win the tournament is exactly what they did. This time round their probability of winning is….1.08% Is that an omen?”
