Has M&S been hoodwinked by Shelter?

Christmas gifts and festive food beside a person sleeping rough, highlighting questions over M&S donations to Shelter.

I love M&S, great food, decent clothes, and I honestly couldn’t live without them, but why on earth has this good company been hoodwinked into donating to the moral vacuum that is Shelter over Christmas?

Surely there are organisations that actually look to ending homelessness rather than campaigning against the PRS?

I have submitted a complaint to investor relations at [email protected] and recommend all other landlords do the same.

Thanks,

Andrew

Editor’s Note: As previously reported by Property118, this is not the first time M&S has supported Shelter. In an article in 2022, Landlord Crusader pointed out that 5% of sales from M&S’s Festive Food on the Move range were helping to fund Shelter’s helpline.

Back in 2017, at Christmas, 5% of sales from the festive collection, including drinks, sandwiches and snacks, was donated to Shelter, with M&S claiming at the time that the money “will go to help people struggling with homelessness and poor housing”. >> https://www.property118.com/ms-food-shelter/
