BBC London request help from landlords
Dear Property118 readers, I am researching a piece for BBC London on the upcoming Renters’ Rights Act and would like to speak to several landlords about what the changes will mean for them.
We would specifically like to focus on landlords in London, as that is our broadcast patch and it might lead to a pre-recorded TV interview. Therefore, we would like landlords who would be happy to go on camera and ideally show us around the property.
I’m looking at speaking to people on the phone on Friday, 10th April, with a view to doing some filming next week.
It’s for a series of pieces ahead of the introduction of the act.
I would be most grateful if you could get in touch with me at [email protected] and give it the subject of landlord interview request.
Many thanks,
Nicky

15 years in residential lettings and the conversations I’m having with landlords right now are genuinely concerning. Most still don’t realise that from 1st May they cannot serve a Section 21 under any circumstances – even mid-tenancy on agreements signed before that date. The transition is absolute, not gradual. Happy to contribute further if useful.
