ECO4 and Great British Insulation Scheme in listed properties?
Has anyone been able to get any work carried out at their rental properties under ECO4 or Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) schemes if the property is Grade 2 listed?
I have one property tenant on full benefits, elderly, disabled, etc, and the only thing that he could have is updated electric heaters (no gas in the property).
I only updated them a couple of years ago to better ones than he had before. No external or internal insulation, no loft insulation (flat partly above) … Current EPC is a D, but it has expired. However the tenant is not going anywhere, so there is no need to get a new one.
Do I just do nothing and apply for an exemption if the C comes in?
Many thanks
DSR

Have an EPC done, or don’t bother
unless you want to sell relet or remortgage
its not mandatory yet and as labour wont be around in 2030 don’t worry
