Limited company landlord filling out Form N5B?

Limited company landlord filling out Form N5B?

8:59 AM, 23rd January 2024, 2 years ago 3

Hi, I have a question about filling out form N5B – specifically on Question 1 and statement of truth, where the landlord is a limited company:

At the top of the form, it asks to ‘Enter the full name of the claimants’.
Question 1 then asks the First claimant’s First name and last name
The statement of truth (on page 17), after the signature section asks ‘full name’

What name goes where (Ltd company, director) if the form is being completed by one of the directors?

Thank you,

Tom

In the “Claimant” section, please enter the complete name of the limited company. Following the full limited company name, include the limited company number within brackets.

For the statement of truth, insert your name followed by the entire company name. Beneath this statement, there is a designated box instructing you to specify your position if signing on behalf of a company. It is assumed that, in this context, your position would be the Managing Director.

    Thanks Neil.
Question 1 asks the First claimant’s First name and last name. What name goes in here, as Landlord (claimant) is the Ltd company?

First name is company name and number. Last name leave blank.
