The Times would like to hear from landlords who are concerned about the introduction of Making Tax Digital rules from April.

I’m keen to talk to landlords who will have to comply with Making Tax Digital rules from April and may have to file a number of different returns. Is the extra red tape (along with tax rises and increased renters’ rights) putting them off wanting to remain a landlord?

The Times would specifically like to speak with landlords who are considering selling up as a result of the increased red tape.

They must be happy to be named and ideally photographed in any coverage. Stories will be handled sensitively.

Thanks so much for your help in advance. I’m available to speak to people today, Wednesday afternoon after 1 pm or anytime on Thursday.
