I am a landlord with more than 10 years experience. I believe my properties are above average condition and aim for around market value, but the quality of tenant is extremely important and I will often accept a lower rent if they are the best choice.
My portfolio is 10 years old and it is my plan hold for a minimum of another 10 years. I manage all aspects of the tenancy including minor maintenance and believe that professional renting of properties in private sector can be profitable and rewarding providing the landlord is committed to long term.
