The Eastern Landlords Association “ELA” is a membership organisation, existing to support and advise residential Landlords, and to represent the many reputable landlords in their dealings with tenants, local and national governments and the courts.

We have been established since 1989, with the main office in Norwich, and over 1200 members. A telephone helpline is available for members, with an experienced team able to assist in aspects of residential letting. It is affiliated to the British Property Federation, with members’ views heard at ministerial level.

The strength lies with it being a local organisation with national connections. An annual conference is held along with an expo, and regular meetings held in the area, giving members chance to network and improve their business.

Members receive a regular newsletter, email alerts, and access to tenancy agreements and other compliant landlord related forms. They also benefit from specialist landlord insurance, and a policy covering tax investigations and legal defence.

The ELA maintains a website, with a members only section, and has a subsidiary letting agency, and provides tenancy referencing. The ELA keeps members informed of changes in legislation, and all for only £70.00 a year, with a one-off joining fee of £15.00.
