Adam, - Corp+Dividend tax at 27.5% with £5000 at 20% sounds better than 29% total as a sole trader but I'm sure there will be a cutoff point somewhere where the hassle+extra accountancy fees aren't worth the saving.

Regarding incorporating to buy property - Am I right in thinking the loan from myself>ltd company is repaid after corporation tax but with no personal tax? After this we're back to extracting dividends at 27.5% total within the basic band? Seems like there's no way to win!... Read More
