I am a consultant with a firm of solicitors having been admitted in 1971.
I have been a private landlord for over 10 years. I believe in happy tenants so do go the extra mile if it is reasonable. I wish my tenants to be happy so they will stay for a good time, not rotate with inevitable rental voids. I will discuss problems that the tenant may bring to my notice or which I can see for myself such as nonpayment of rent or the condition of the property. I prefer not to accept pets or benefit tenants.
I regard such property as a long term investment, so don’t intend to sell in the foreseeable future.
