You may have noticed that in the last week or so our articles regarding tax changes affecting landlords have shifted slightly away from campaigning towards highlighting solutions.

We continue to vigorously support the various campaigns of course, and pictured below you will see Steve Bolton who co-founded the “Axe The Tenant Tax” campaign with Chris Cooper holding a cheque from Property118 for £11,000. This is the largest donation to date and we hope it will inspire other organisations to support the excellent work of the campaign financially. We have pledged our ongoing support in every way possible.

However, a moment of realisation occurred to us recently whilst we were at The Property Investment Show at ExCel, London.

That realisation was that …….

Property investors do not like to rely on a strategy of hope.

Landlords generally like to feel they are masters of their own destiny and that any risks are calculated.

The most common question we were asked at the show was this ….

“What can we do if the campaign to reverse the legislation to restrict finance cost relief for individual landlords is not repealed”

Since then we have focused our articles on sharing solutions. Interest levels have peaked at an all time high resulting in a record week for pages viewed on Property118.

Just in case you missed those solutions based articles I have curated a list of headlines and linked them below.
