Are you a landlord in France or do you own a second home there? Then, Ruby Hinchliffe, money reporter for the Telegraph would like to speak with you.

The French government is planning on introducing new tough emission rules to try to prevent certain properties from being sold or let if they aren’t energy efficient enough.

Landlords of F and G-rated homes may no longer raise rents, and as of this year, the worst of the G-rated properties cannot be rented to new tenants.

By 2028, 5.2 million homes rated F and G, or 17% of total housing stock, will become ineligible for rental. By 2034, all E properties will also be excluded, amounting to about 40% of homes.

The Telegraph would like to hear from landlords, and those with old second homes in France, and their opinions on this. If you think you can help please email ruby.hinchliffe@telegraph.co.uk as soon as possible.
