So sounds like that the next thing would be if the tenant doesn't pass affordability test landlord can't refuse guarantee from local authority and obviously they won't pay up without taking them to court which will cost even more.to evict...

Exactly what I think..Wipe out the small man..Corporates take over and then tenants will deal with them just as we deal with energy companies or insurance companies with no face no recourse and most of the times a very difficult...
So he is saying businesses who hire/lease office space shouldn't be paying the landlord's mortgages!!! I thought it was for that very reason people are being asked to come back to office otherwise large property holding companies would crash for...
