The PRS is fecked isn't it.....today's Tennant's borrowing the deposit are tomorrow's Tennant's not paying rent..... It's almost as if there is no money left....

What's makes you think interest will pick up later in the tax year? Seems like a lot of effort to save a bit on council tax when, if you need to sell, dropping the price would get more people's attention....

So you have made a £900,000 profit after tax, and you're still unhappy! Ingress money don't make you happy.....many btl's are gonna walk away with nothing if inflation (and rates) doesn't drop soon.
If so, shouldn't it apply both ways, I mean a buyer can potentially lose far more where w property falls through because they may have paid for surveys etc. Maybe a matched bond from both parties would be more appropriate.
