My big worry is that too many Labour MPs will be influenced by the likes of Novarra and Shelter. My advice toalllandlords is to ignore this and just raise rents to reflect the increased market tax and regulatory risk.

If there are any Landlords left at the time of the next election,I guess we will all have to vote Conservative because Labour will be far worse- the lesser of two evils.
E xcellent point. If you're trying to evict non paying tenants threaten them with a CCJ unless they leave quickly.Then if you feel like it after they have left,take them to court and get a CCJ.
Great article but it did not mention one of the biggest problems Landlords have in evicting non paying tenants.The whole process takes the best part of one year,and at the end you you get vacant possession of a trashed flat...
