As of January 2025, the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) reported a membership exceeding 100,000 landlords. NRLA.ORG.UK In the 2021-2022 tax year, there were approximately 2.82 million unincorporated landlords in the UK. PROPERTY118.COM This suggests that NRLA members constitute about...
Of course the NRLA are not a force like the Farmers union as I explained above. Let me explain it like this; If a Union is going into negotiations with an employer whilst only representing less than 5% of the...
Sorry but this is just nonsense, if more Landlords joined the NRLA then we would have a bigger voice. Currently less than 5% of LL's are members. We do not need another body, we need LL's to support the one...

Why have the Police not removed a trespasser from your property? As for possessions, not read the Tort act for a long time, but from memory once notice period is up, you can do what you like. Are you a...
"I agree, but you still need a possession order from the county court before police will act" Sorry buts that's complete rubbish, you do not need court orders for the Police to arrest people committing a CRIME!
There are no "squatters rights" in residential properties anymore, they can & should be evicted by police immediately as its a crime. As above arrange a date & time & put belongings outside so not even any need for them...
I hope after her stint on LBC she went away and did some research. She made it quite plain that she didn't understand why Sec21 was widely used by LL's i.e as a quick way to regain possession for rent...
Your post is slightly confusing, if recovery fees have been added to the Utility Debt then have you paid off the total debt? When the Property became empty you should have put Utilities in your name with your correspondence address...
They don't need to give any notice if leaving at the end of a fixed term. That being said you could argue that they gave you confirmation that they were leaving end of Nov, so another months rent would be...

As above you should get a signed surrender document from the executors of the estate, to cover yourself. Were the church the legal executors?
