Reply to the comment left by "John " at "02/07/2017 - 14:13": Why is licensing irrelevant? There are three types of licence in Newham -Selective license(family) -Additional HMO license (3 or more unrelated sharers in two storey house) -HMO license...

Really? I must have missed something- didn't know you could let a house on an AST & then claim a spare room as your own to let short term when you feel like it- I'd have been my tenants' temporary...

Well I wouldn't want accreditation if it meant I'd have the council wanting me to accept eleven people to suffer overcrowding and put enormous strain on the property. Luckily I have a family of four there for now and they...

According to the link below both NLA & RLA are recognised by london boroughs (or RLAAS & NLAS). https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/housing-and-land/renting/london-rental-standard/get-accredited-five-easy-steps...

Reply to the comment left by "Puzzler " at "13/12/2014 - 12:09": Puzzler- lucky you if you don't need an Additional licence for a small HMO. Individual councils have the power to impose additional licencing etc as is the case...

Reply to the comment left by "Iwona Kowalska" at "09/12/2014 - 10:27": Why don't you find out from the licensing dept? I think the introduction of the article 4 direction means you now have to get planning permission for change...
