What alternatives exactly Mr. Pennycook? In fact why would a good landlord give a reference until the tenant has left the property unless they have been a model tenant for years .As it stands though any landlord reference is worthless....
All the comments above are absolutely correct. I would add most landlords have a choice, they are so far not forced to rent by this government and unless there is a good profit for them they will move their money...
