Florida Property Market Update – part three.
By Mark Alexander.
On Thursday this week I am meeting the Vice President of Lake Buena Vista Resort to learn more about their EB5 visa scheme. This is a $500,000 investment into property which comes with a USA Green Card within 6 months, an exit opportunity after just two years and fully managed property producing auditable net rental income returns of 2.5% per annum and more.
The property has been built and under management for five years. Further details will follow in my next report.
Tax relievable inspection trips are available and include accommodation at the resort and free Disney tickets for the family.
Also on Friday this week I am meeting a number of Orlando based Realtors (Estate Agents) to learn more about three bed apartments that are now trading at a discount of 70% plus below their 2007 selling prices.
Apparently these properties can be snapped up before they go on the market for $30,000 (about £20,000) plus a £5,000 finders fee. Again, inspection visits can be arranged, either on a stand alone basis, or in conjunction with the above.
