Landlords in England can use information already held in their portfolios to prepare for the government’s PRS database through a newly launched tool.
However, they will still need to complete registration through the government’s service.
Lendlord’s Property Register, available within its compliance hub, brings existing records together into a registration pack.
It also flags missing details before landlords submit their information.
Aviram Shahar, Lendlord’s co-founder and CEO, said: “Preparing for the new database should not mean starting from scratch.
“Landlords already hold much of the information they need, and our Property Register tool brings it together to make preparation simpler.”
He added: “Registration is only the first step.
“Landlords also need to keep their records up to date as circumstances change.”
The tool will identify the database’s regional registration deadlines for each property in a landlord’s portfolio.
It will also manage registration notifications and due dates.
The database renewal reminders will be included and changes to property or tenancy information will trigger an alert when an update to the register is needed.
