LandlordZONE and the NRLA are to jointly host a webinar on Tuesday 1st December that will give landlords an update on the Coronavirus emergency and its impact on the housing market and legislation.
The Webinar will be hosted by Paul Shamplina Head of Property at Hamilton Fraser, Landlord Law and presenter of Channel 5’s ‘Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords’ TV show. Paul said: This three-hour course will be presented in a practical format to help you navigate your responsibilities as a landlord during the coronavirus crisis.”
Renowned industry trainer, Susie Crolla, from the Guild of Letting and Management assisted in creating the webinar, which will begin at 10am and will count towards Continuous Professional Development accreditation.
The course will be covering the following topics:
- An overview of the impact of COVID-19 on landlords including the changes to eviction notice periods
- Understanding your legal and compliance responsibilities such as gas and electrical safety, tenant fees and more
- How to use resources to make the running of your property business easier such as how to choose the right letting agent
- An update from the NRLA on the lobbying and financial support currently being worked on including the Renters’ Reform Bill
