A very competitive 80% Loan to Value 5 year fixed Buy-to-Let mortgage product has been released today by the Buckinghamshire Building Society available to limited companies and first-time landlords, but not, unfortunately, portfolio landlords (personal individual applicants cannot have more than 3 mortgaged BTL upon completion).
The 5 year product is fixed at 3.09% till the 31/08/2026 – with an early redemption penalty starting in the first year of 5% reducing by 1% for each subsequent year and a fixed lenders fee of £1,495. Follow on rate BTL SVR currently 5.49%. The overall cost for comparison is 4.6% APRC.
Minimum loan size £50,000.
Maximum loan size £750,000.
The maximum mortgage term is 40 years dependent on individual circumstances.
Minimum income criteria is £35,000 and available for purchases or remortgages.
This is a fast, low cost, 80% (including fees) LTV product. Non-indemnity search insurance can be used for re-mortgages only to help with speed of completion.
