Can I serve a Section 21 and or 8 during Lockdown?

My tenants have gone quiet as well and now are 2 months in arrears I have sent all the guidance from the government to them and hopefully will be able to contact them soon with respect to offering them an official rent holiday, but do I need to get them to sign an agreement to repay later? Landlords to be responsible for tenants tobacco tax evasion?

Of course this includes all the the council housing associations ,and any other definition of landlords or social housing.....or are they excempt as usual. It seems that is where you might find tax evasion rather than private landlords tenants!... Read More

Thank you for your advice Neil, I have told the tenant I will not start court action until end of January as long as the rent remains paid. I am monitoring the situation closely, in the mean time I may contact Paul in the near future if there is a problem.... Read More
