Soldier On Property Training Course Committed Suicide

Hello all, and thank you for your comments . I see in this sad case the deceased soldier was in UN uniform. This deployment usually carries extra pay and is welcome if a person is transitioning into civvy street.
I stand by my earlier suggestion that it is important for transitioning military to visit theit careers officer or organisations like Help for Heroes,
X Forces etc. These usually have an insight into the relaible and honest organisations, and indeed, the ones to avoid.
I agree Mark should continue with his good work, if only to guide applicants into the honest job brokers. The good organisations have little to fear.

Soldier On Property Training Course Committed Suicide

Very sad news.
All regiments have a careers officer to whom a leaving military person should ensure thay have an interview to help with their resettlement. Careers officers will be able to steer applicants towards reliable and affordable training schemes.
Organisations such as XForces do this well.
Transitioning service personnel should take advise and recommendations from trusted organisations such as XForces who will advise a reliable and sound advice for their future.
Do not part with money until you have taken advice. The good schemes give good results .

Landlords fund-raising for the homeless

Good thinking.
Our Parachute Regiment charity pays no salaries or expenses and we have raised £ 5.25M for wounded soldiers and the families of those killed in action.
Needs policing to prevent the less reputable feathering their own nest and donating very little to the cause.... Read More
