'No DSS' listings banned on Zoopla

Just one more nail in the coffin for btl landlords. We are actively seeking a scheme where we have no deposits, rent guarantee and insurance cover for damage caused by tenants. The tenant will buy the policy with the landlord as a named beneficiary and the policy in place before the keys or ast is handed over.
We will thereby comply with no fees legislation, deposit protection and the insurance company will take the risk.
Any offers?
It would be nice for these people to have a stake in their own welfare but would they be party to making themselves homeless if they refused to pay the renewal premium?... Read More

This is just another nail in the coffin.
I have decided to dispose of my property portfolio.
I have a block of 9 flats under construction and 9 more tenanted.
I have now had enough and will follow Marks lead and leave this land to all the non-participants who demand everything for nothing and are entitled to their rights with no effort from themselves.

Leasehold Flat has a design fault - Who do I pursue?

I would submit a claim to the NHBC and let them investigate. The warrantee is normally 10 years, but from experience they shout a lot but solve nothing. Your buildings insurance may be another avenue to consider.... Read More
