405 Right to Rent fines issued by Home Office

Protecting public services starts at the border control point. This as has already been debated to death should not be the responsibility of the landlords. Also other than EU citizens where we (at the present moment) have a reciprocal agreement for health care, all other visitors must provide proof of insurance upon entry, there by our NHS not having to fund care. Stamp duty paid on whole building value?

Stamp duty I believe is based on how the property is registered with the Land Registry, presumably yours was registered as 1 unit and not 5 separate dwellings. However this wouldn't stop you splitting them and applying for a refund element against each. Ask your solicitors if it's worth the hassle and cost.... Read More

I'm not sure this is strictly true, you would answer questions to the specific insurance you are buying, may it be a car, home, holiday, etc. One doesn't have any bearing on the other and there is no need to declare a past claim on unrelated products. It doesn't mean one is not being truthful, it is merely not applicable to that particular insurance product.... Read More
