Pension pot property?

Just sold a property in Spain and delighted to have done it. There is huge supply of holiday property in spain and people looking for people to look after properties out of season...you will be spoilt for choice re using a property there for very little or no money off season.
Owning in Spain comes with lots of bills to council, community fees, banks, govt and you have to compete hard in most cases... also Booking.com etc fees and maintenance cleaning...Brexit may bring unexpected 'drlights' also...
I would advise against for what its worth and use the cash to invest in something else
Hope this helps... Read More

GDPR confusion and misinformation

Be transparent, register with the ICO, fill in the template Record of processing, be secure in how you hold data physically and electronically, don't hold more data than you need. If there is a complaint to the ICO which prompts them to contact you(after they finish with Facebook) it is unlikely to end in a fine. Of thousands of cases that that came to the ICO attention last year only a tiny percentage ended in fines. There is a lot of scaremongering going on to sell 'solutions'. Register and use the helpline when uncertain.... Read More

Hi the tradesman s data is still personal however he has put it in the public domain with the expectation that people contact him about work so you are free to pass it on for those purposes without fear that the tradesman will complain you to the ICO. The important thing to remember is the ATOM principle to compliance appropriate technical and operational measures. We don't need to go overboard and set our bar too high and manage for risks/complaints that are very unlikely to happen or be entertained by the ICO.... Read More
