Buying another property - what costs can be deducted from the income?

Good morning, does that mean can claim the interest on a loan of £45000 that I got as I could not get a mortgage , so I got 3loans of 15000 each and can I reclaim it at the end of the payment instead of each year.
Thanking for any advise. Michelle... Read More

Capital Gains if I live in a buy to let later?

That's good to know, I have 4 properties in Yorkshire that are around the £65000 mark and I am wanting to leave them to my 2 children, does that mean if I die and I have put them in my will to give one each, will they not have to pay GGT. As I was planning, when I retire to pass over each child a house to either live in or rent out them selves and leave then each one in my will when I die. Because with other assets I would be over the inheritance tax if I do not pass them over the 2 house. And hopefully live the 7 years.

Water damage negligence for the second time!

I have just bought a property and have tenants waiting to move in but can not due to after pulling up the floor boards finding it is flooded due to the next door blocking up the down pipe drain out side so when it rains it gets flooded and because I am lower it is just running into my house and I am having to keep pumping it out this has been going on for 3 months I have spoken to them and they will not have it that it is their fault because the rain water is not going down the drain. The water board saaid it's an environmental issue they say it's next doors problem and I am getting nowhere with sorting it out. Does anyone have any advice of what I can do.... Read More

Landlords Tax Returns - 10 Common Mistakes

Not really clear on this , I got a loan of £60,000 to buy a £85,000 house to rent out. This was a loan and not a mortgage, does this mean I can claim the interest back.
Thanks for all your wonderful help.
