Shelter claim 39% of PRS is dangerous or unhealthy

Why should you give up Section 21? There are multiple reasons why you may want to give a tenant notice. Nobody does it for no reason, as you would have void periods, refurbishment costs etc.
There needs to be a level playing field between the PRS and the tenants. They soon move out if they can find a similar property for less, so all this talk about unhealthy properties in the PRS is a sham.... Read More

Shelter claim 39% of PRS is dangerous or unhealthy

They always make it sound as if the tenants cannot find another property. In London there are so many empty properties at the moment and the rents are falling. So what is the problem with moving if you are not satisfied with the property you are in?
You have a choice in the PRS, so which tenant would rent a damp and hazardous property? If there are such properties will they be improved because Section 21 is abolished?
Sounds to me like Shelter just wants the PRS to house people for free......... Read More

Leasehold Knowledge Partnership has been campaigning to get people other than leaseholders to pay for this.

Can a new HMO tenant be asked to take Covid test?

I think that is over the top and even if you think the PCR test is correct, the person could get infected the day after.
PCR tests have been ruled defective in Portugal after being challenged by German tourists.
I cannot understand why young people are so afraid of this virus when it almost exclusively affects people over 80 with underlying health conditions.... Read More

Legal action against Government's lockdown evictions ban

There are court cases as to the legality of the lockdowns, apart from the fact that they do not seem to work in any case.
The PCR on which the "infection" numbers are based and which is prolonging this pandemic has been challenged in a Portuguese court.
