Well i appreciate all the time you have taken to put together the potential cost...Id like to say - is this a late April fools joke or early Friday 13th message..
Its certainly unpleasant to read....im fairly lost for words.
I suppose i cant proceed even if i wanted too as the potential cost is not something i sit on day to day...

I think your last sentence is interesting and something i have been considering; will the government intervene? i have heard possibly by end of 2018 they may push something through parliament making leases easier, cheaper for homeowners to renew - obviously no guarantee .. i could sit tight for a little while; that's something im also contemplating; however the flip side is it could increase the renewal further down the line... Yes very helpful.
I will look to contact a solicitor that is a member of ALEP (as per silversurfers recommendation) they can make the approach. As you are experienced with dealing with this, is there a particular solicitor you can recommend? Not sure you can send Direct mail on here, for purposes of confidentiality.
