Grounds 8, 10 or 11 can't be used without a court's permission.

Specifically, Regulation 7(7)(j) lists the exclusion as: "serve a notice to take possession of a dwelling-house let to a debtor on grounds 8, 10 or 11 in Schedule 2 to the Housing Act 1988 or take possession of a dwelling-house let to a debtor having served such a notice".... Read More

I'd describe myself as centre-left, so the party closest to my political views is the LibDems. However, the constituency we live in is a red/blue marginal, so I voted Labour, and I expect to do so again.

It helps that our Labour MP is an outspoken Corybn critic. It's my hope that, if we do end up with a Corbyn government, the right of the Labour party will prevent him from doing anything too radical.

While I do consider landlord-related policies when choosing who to vote for, it's a relatively minor piece of the puzzle for me. Cuts in council spending, and to some extent attitude to business, have more of an impact on my life.
