And I agree with you to a degree yet all I see on TV, in the press and from the man himself is that the GE gave him a massive mandate to get Brexit done. I contend that it didn't.

Statistically 53% preferred the ridiculous policies to the ones Boris put forward. For the record the Labour manifesto terrified me.

Who is not accepting the result of the election? I'm just pointing out that amidst the cries all around about Boris's stonking majority and his massive mandate to get Brexit done that he actually lost the popular vote on his flagship policy and it would be nice if he would temper his policies to reflect that fact.... I agree with what you say about Leavers voting for Remain parties and vice versa but 53% support to remain in the EU is in line with almost every opinion poll taken on Brexit.... Read More

The reality is that 43% voted Tory and 57% didn't.

As a property owner I would say that the experts were right and a catastrophe did follow the Referendum result. Economic growth slowed considerably (we went from fastest to slowest growing in the EU) and the housing market has flatlined.

I dislike Boris and the amount of lies the Tories blatantly told to win the election (88% of their online advertising was found to have factually incorrect content) but agree the economic outlook is better under him than JC's full scale renationalisation plans. But he's going to have to perform miracles with the economy just to make up the £28 Billion hit that Brexit will bring. I really hope he manages to do this but I somehow doubt it.... Read More
