Friday I launched a crowd funding deal with a twist. It was an opportunity to be involved and fund a full planning application for a Grade 2 listed office building to residential conversion.
Obviously investing in such a deal comes with more risk than usual so I ‘pitched’ it as a high risk investment.
However, with a minimum investment at just £100 we also offered anyone who invested the ability to watch and be informed of the full planning application.
Meaning for £100, one can watch from the side lines and hopefully learn from the whole process and if planning is granted and the project is fully funded/sold – then the cherry on top is the 80% return on investment.
After just 2.5 hours the fund was closed and 100% of funds raised
