There is very little point in asking for a rent deposit as far as I can see . Any tenant with ill intentions will merely miss their final months payment so they have effectively taken back their rent deposit anyway....
so how come tenants who falsify pay slips are never criminally prosecuted unlike us mere mortal landlords who can be prosecuted for minor oversights which are not even criminal.
Could whoever has found a solicitor or commissioner of oaths who charges around £10.00 please e-mail me at [email protected] to let me know who they are. I am looking for one with reasonable charges and not had much luck so...
