Retired Portfolio Landlord.
I built "my pension" 20 years ago: One sold in any tax year claiming max tax allowances to lock-in profits.
The tenancies paid for the mortgage interest while house price inflation effectively paid off the loans. "keep it simple".
We now enjoy multiple pensions from Properties then Employments then State on top.
