You and MEES

You and MEES

Calling commercial landlords and asset managers: the race is on to get your building ready.

You are invited to this FREE event to find out everything you need to know about the new energy standards for rented commercial buildings.

All rented commercial buildings granted a lease after 1st April 2018 will need to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) with an E-rating or higher. These requirements have been introduced into legislation through the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) and there is a hefty penalty of up to £150,000 for non compliance.

Certain premises are exempt from needing an EPC, but this is an issue that most commercial landlords simply cannot afford to ignore. Join us on 7th March in Uckfield to find out how to turn MEES from a threat to an opportunity for your business.

Our exclusive event for commercial landlords, tenants and green suppliers will give practical guidance on how to meet the imminent Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards. We’ll look at the costs and practicalities of compliance and discuss available grants and opportunities for the green supply chain.

Don’t be an April Fool, book your place today!

This event is part of the University of Brighton’s Green Growth Platform events programme, helping to grow the green economy across Sussex. The Green Growth Platform is a thriving network of green focused businesses in the South East. Join for FREE at greengrowthplatform.co.uk.
