Energy Efficiency Regulations Training Course

Energy Efficiency Regulations Training Course

From April 2018 the granting of a new tenancy with an energy efficiency rating of less than Band E will be banned. The course will look in detail at the impact of the regulations, the exemptions and how any necessary improvement could be funded at no expense to the landlord, including the Green Deal, ECO and the possible impact of Government intended direction of travel on energy efficiency.

The Energy Performance Certificate rating is of major significance and changes in how the rating is calculated will benefit many landlords currently impacted by the regulations. The ban may effect around 11% of the rented sector however the Government has indicated their wish to raise the minimum energy efficiency level of rented properties.

The trainer is an experienced landlord trainer and has been involved for many years in energy efficiency, including giving evidence to a Parliamentary Select Committee and chairing the Government’s Advisory Committee for the energy efficiency regulations.
