While this workshop looks extremely interesting and will no doubt help many of the large private landlords, am I correct in stating that for incorporation to be viable, the activity of a landlord must qualify as a rental "business" - i.e. HMRC has to be satisfied that the landlord's activity is sufficiently full-time to warrant that definition? Hence smaller landlords who do not have enough properties / spend enough time on them will not be able to go down this route? Thank you

I have a friend who might be interested in this seminar, but before i tell them about it, does it help private landlords who rent out rooms in their own home who might be liable for capital gains tax if they decide to sell the property.? i.e. because it is deemed a business and not classified as a private home!
